How Bliss+Lane Started

I have a unique business name that doesn’t share a lot about what it is that we actually do, so I get questioned a lot on “How did you get your business name?”⁠

⁠Well, let me tell you a little story!⁠

I’ve been a photographer since high school where I was ‘Be the Change Photography’ - cringgggee! Then in college when I shifted gears to make this more my part time job, I became Bliss Photo. Bliss came to be because it is just a word that I’ve always been drawn to….perfect happiness, oblivious of other things around you, a sigh of bliss.⁠

2021 Recap

This little business of mine that started as a tiny idea has grown into something bigger than I ever expected. My word for 2021 was GROWTH, and it definitely showed up! I surpassed my income goal with almost three months left in the year. I hired my fourth person and have built a team of women that show the heck up every day with fantastic work. These ladies have saved my butt multiple times (through sickness, that time I spilled on my computer, kids home, and more!) I cannot wait to keep on growing and having these ladies with me through it all!

Cold Brew Coffee Recipe

Probably one of the most common question I get in my DMs after talking to Instagram is how the heck I make my coffee.

I love coffee. It started when I was a teacher, but I never found anything I really loved. This resulted in me and a coworker stopping for coffee lottttttss of days a week. Which is obviously expensive!

Once I started working from home I had to figure out how the heck to make something I loved because I wasn’t going to spend the money on good coffee every day.
